Laila Murad is an urban designer and transportation engineer and works in a transportation-planning firm near the city of Haifa, Israel. She is a graduate of the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, and is a Master in Urban Design from Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem.
